Startups
Here are some of the projects we are proud of and currently working on. We develop custom digital products for everyone, from start-ups to government agencies.

BlinkLab
Together with Henk-Jan Boele and other researchers at the prestigious Princeton and Erasmus MC, we explored the limits of the smartphone through the development of BlinkLab.

KERN
Zooma developed an advanced digital platform for KERN's logistics experts that brings entrepreneurs and governments together to reduce emissions and transportation miles in cities. Via the KERN website & quickscan, entrepreneurs gain insight into targeted improvement measures, useful tools and inspiring practical examples that contribute to more efficient and sustainable urban logistics.

Youmie
Zooma has been building the digital membership platforms for several large student associations since 2016. To streamline this, the Youmie label was conceived. With the Youmie technology, we can deliver incredibly high quality apps, as Zooma is used to doing, but at very attractive prices. Meanwhile, the apps are used daily by thousands of students across dozens of study and student associations throughout the Netherlands.

TMSQR
Since 2015, TMSQR has been busy creating awesome festival apps for music, theater, movies and all kinds of other cultural festivals. Together with the great team at TMSQR, Zooma as the tech partner is building step by step the ultimate festival app.

Hospital Hero
The Hospital Hero concept is a beautiful initiative of Veronique van Noort and Nicole Donkel, two nurses at the pediatric ward of the Willem Alexander Children's Hospital (LUMC). Zooma has been working (proudly!) on this concept since 2020, which also includes experts from Nell, TU Delft and Naturalis. And the best part: more and more hospitals are joining in.

De Dorus
De Dorus is a 'creative coworking community'. Zooma owns, and is itself a 'resident' of De Dorus, so of course we developed the corporate identity, the website and the apps ourselves! Every quarter, in scrum sprints, we continue to build the platform, based on feedback from other De Dorus coworkers.

Airtender
Airtender is a smart plug-and-play air and vacuum device for the kitchen. Zooma developed a handy, advanced, app with which the device can be operated. Prepare delicious dishes, aerate your fine wines optimally and create impressive cocktails with Airtender!

Speurroutes
Those who scavenge see more! Zooma developed the app (PWA) for Speurroutes! Speurroutes NL develops, you guessed it, tracking routes through Dutch cities. Enjoy wandering through cities, searching for tips and clues. This is how you never saw the city before.

Blink Hypotheken
Zooma designed and developed the brand new website for the brand new real estate finance and mortgage consulting firm Blink. The website has become a beautiful "calling card" for Blink of Leiden!

Beacon Fields
Beacon Fields is a young Dutch company that produces sensors for agriculture. Zooma is collaborating on the development of the apps, customer dashboard and backend links that communicate with the sensors in the field.
What we are working on now
We are working on a website with all bees to define images and features.
We apply gamification in an app to reduce tension, anxiety and stress during a hospital visit for children.

Zooma joins Dutch Digital Agencies!

DDA is a new network of similar digital agencies in the Netherlands, focused on sharing knowledge and helping each other improve. For Tom and Thomas, it was a great opportunity to spend an afternoon brainstorming with colleagues about the PM profession.

From Qodana to Storybook.js: Zooma's 'sharing hour' inspires
The 'sharing hour' is an inspiring regular feature at the beginning of every themed get-together at Zooma in which colleagues briefly and powerfully present their recent projects and results. During this informal moment, developers, project leaders, designers and others briefly show what they are proud of; this can vary from completed customer projects, self-thought innovative concepts, to results from special internal sessions such as the Fanatical Friday. The goal is to inspire each other, increase involvement and make clear what everyone within the growing company is working on.
