Narrowcasting internship assignment

In the winter of 2023-2024, computer science students Daniël and Katinka of Leiden University of Applied Sciences built a complete narrowcasting system for Zooma's coworking building De Dorus during their third-year internship. On large Sony screens in various places in the building, information is displayed about the various companies in the building, get-togethers and events, solar panel yields, the weather and much more.


TMSQR now offers 'standalone' apps as well!

Zooma has been working as a tech partner on TMSQR since 2015; now an established name in the interesting world of music festivals and fans of live music. TMSQR started as a platform for festivals apps but recently started offering 'standalone' apps!


Zooma developed BlinkLab

In the revolutionary development of BlinkLab, Zooma and the prestigious Princeton University explored the limits of the smartphone. The BlinkLab app uses the iPhone in unconventional ways, turning it into a device suitable for conducting neurobehavioral assessments.


Website bookstore De Kler

For bookstore De Kler, Zooma developed a new responsive website / webshop in 2023 in five intensive sprints. De Kler is a well-known name in the book trade with no less than twelve physical stores spread over as many cities in the Randstad.


Further development of Hospital Hero

Zooma has participated in a very nice project since 2020: Hospital Hero. The purpose of Hospital Hero is to optimally prepare parents and children for a hospital visit and thereby reduce the stress, tension and anxiety experienced by both children and parents.


New platform for Naturalis

Together with Naturalis, we built the Pollinator Academy, the new knowledge platform for information about pollinators.


Team event: go-karting in Zoetermeer

Last Friday we went karting with the entire Zooma crew in Zoetermeer! We ended the day with pizza and drinks in our home base De Dorus.


Awwwards Digital Thinkers Conference

On Thursday 12 and Friday 13 October, Zooma was represented by Julia, Ard and Bas at the DeLaMar theater in Amsterdam, to attend the 17th edition of the Awwwards Digital Thinkers Conference. With inspiring talks and dev sessions on topics such as UX and web design, creative coding, storytelling and AI, this annual event is the place to discover the latest trends and technologies in design and development.


Zooma digitized the Opnij EF Plan agenda

Together with Education Center Opnij, Zooma created the digital version of the EF Plan Agenda. We built a web environment for students and mentors, and added native Android and iOS apps.

Together with Wereldmuseum, Zooma helps map the past.
