At Zooma, we believe it is important to keep learning and improving. Whether it is about technical innovations or cooperation within teams, knowledge sharing plays a central role. We recently organized an internal knowledge session in which three colleagues shared their insights with the team.

We have been working closely with Minerva, one of the oldest associations in the country, since 2016. From that long-standing collaboration, our association platform Youmie was born. Invariably we got the same question: "Can you build one great working platform especially for (student) associations?" Now, nine years later, Youmie stands firm and associations from all corners of the Netherlands use it on a daily basis.

On May 22nd and 23rd, the KotlinConf 2025 took place in Copenhagen. An event where more than 2000 people from all over the world gathered to talk about the Kotlin programming language, listen to talks about Kotlin and get in touch with others who love Kotlin as much as we do. Zooma went with a delegation of four: Kevin, Leonhard, Martijn and Bas.

At Zooma, we are proud to partner with healthcare provider ADHDcentraal (Dedimo). Together we are working on an innovative digital experience that adds real value for both patients and mental health practitioners. With user-friendly apps, a complete treatment portal and smart links to medical systems, we are building the future of care.

How do you avoid the daily hustle and bustle, and the comfort of success, at the expense of innovation and a critical eye for each other? Ok, we pat ourselves unabashedly on the back for a moment: TMSQR, our subsidiary, is going like clockwork. And it's too cool that we are now also, step by step, gaining a foothold in the US!

Today, on April 1, Zooma exists exactly 15 years. Our out of control April 1 joke :-) And yes, we are quite a bit proud of that.

Zooma developed an advanced digital platform for KERN's logistics experts that brings entrepreneurs and governments together to reduce emissions and transportation miles in cities.

Recently the annual pub quiz took place in our home base De Dorus. From this (literally) colorful business building in Leiden, Zooma works with 22 different companies, remote workers and creatives on a variety of projects and products.

Zooma has been growing steadily and organically for 15 years (party, more on this later!), averaging one or two new team members a year. But in recent months things have been moving a little faster than usual. We have welcomed four new colleagues in a short period of time. A remarkable growth spurt - and we feel honored that Lisa, Tom, Nick and Nilesh have chosen to join Zooma!
