DSC
Student association from Delft
The Delftsch Studenten Corps (DSC) is the oldest student organization in Delft, founded on March 22, 1848 for students at the Royal Academy, the predecessor of today's Delft University of Technology.... Zooma, in collaboration with members of DSC's technical committee, developed the native iPhone app and seamlessly linked it to DSC's backend.
An iOS app was a big wish because this way the members (mainly iOS users) can be reached better via push notifications. DSC already had an excellent backend / CMS running and so it was decided to link the native iOS app to the existing API of DSC.
Working closely with the members of DSC, the Zooma app developers built a beautiful, and very comprehensive, native iPhone app. With just about every functionality you can think of for an app for a student union :-)
The app includes a dynamic dashboard containing the latest news, the calendar, a popularity poll and the birthday members. In addition, the app of course contains the full almanac, an extensive message board / forum called 'Wandelgangen' and the 'my profile' page where members can edit their data.
Search
Easily search by members, committees, etc. The app as the ultimate spider in the web!
Almanac
The almanac lists all committees, disputes, the board and, of course, all members.
Interest
Members can indicate their interest in joining committees through the app.
Youmie
