The LOI language course app!
Zooma has developed the language course app for LOI, The Leidse Onderwijsinstellingen. The free app was developed to support the beginner courses in English, Spanish, German, French and Italian. With this app, you can learn anytime, anywhere!
Background
In 2014, the LOI developed a language course app for iOS and Android. Since this app was now very outdated, the LOI approached Zooma to ask if we would like to help think about revamping this app. The objective was to launch the first version of the language course app live to the many LOI students in the first months of 2020. Mission accomplished!
Further development
The idea of the app is to support learners in terms of content, and motivate them with modern features, during their language course. At home, on the road, at work or on vacation... Students can now practice the language anywhere. Based on feedback from users and new insights LOI and Zooma will continue to develop the apps agile together.
