The day began in Hellevoetsluis, the berth of Florian's boat the 'Zeildroom'. Accompanied by Florian, the Zooma team was allowed to prepare the boat itself and we sailed towards sunny Middelharnis. Our iOS and Android experts hoisted the sails, the frontenders were lying pretty on the foredeck, the backenders kept an overview from the back deck and our creative director sat at the helm, with our privacy officer looking over his shoulder. How could it be otherwise ;-)

In Middelharnis, Florian gave a lecture about his adventures and ventures. Very impressive and really cool that he realized his dream and sailed around the world with a friend in 2.5 years. Past the most beautiful places on earth, through dangerous pirate territories, swimming with dolphins, huge tropical storms and weeks without land and sleep.

Once back in Hellevoetsluis harbor, we celebrated the safe return with a drink and ate....Iglo fish sticks, because how could it be otherwise, when you go sailing for a day with Sir Captain Iglo himself? :-) And in the evening we went to the Gebr. de Nobel for a concert by Johnny Cash tribute band 'Def Americans'.
