Veggipedia
The independent source on fruits and vegetables
Veggipedia is the independent source on potatoes, vegetables, fruits, herbs and mushrooms. From information on cultivation to nutritional values, supplemented with practical facts. In collaboration with National Action Plan for Fruit and Vegetables, Zooma worked on a beautiful clear new website.
Background
Veggipedia is the independent source on fruits and vegetables. It was time to combine this rich collection of information and facts in a new website. Zooma, in cooperation with the National Action Plan for Fruit and Vegetables (NAGF), was given the honor of creating this website. The project was financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality.
The Result
The result is a beautiful website with lots of possibilities to search and filter fruits and vegetables, as well as recipes, on all kinds of properties. Each recipe and product has its own page that can be easily edited in the CMS, for example, images and videos can be added, or related recipes and products linked.
Wireframes
First, Zooma worked with Veggipedia to create the wireframes.
Design
Zooma then translated the wireframes into an uncluttered design.
Development
Finally, Zooma built the responsive website. Accessible on all screens!
We have experienced Zooma as a reliable and fine partner who thinks along with the customer. They provide good input for an appropriate and contemporary design. We are very pleased with our new online encyclopedia on fruit and vegetables, which is now even better suited to the needs of the user.
