Together with Dedimo, Zooma is working on a major innovation in the healthcare landscape. Care provider ADHDcentraal is the specialist in the field of mental health care concerning ADHD. At eleven locations throughout the country, they help hundreds of patients every day. Innovation and a good experience for patient and practitioner are of paramount importance.
In this extensive project, the experience of both patients and practitioners at ADHDcentraal will be optimized. For example, via the ADHDcentraal app the patient has all the information about their treatment at hand and practitioners work in an attractive portal. A direct link to the database of the electronic patient file provides the input for the system. Naturally, everything works in accordance with our ISO27001 certification and the NEN7513 standard of Dedimo.

With this project, Dedimo greatly improved their patients' user experience. Through the new iOS and Android apps, patients can stay optimally informed about their treatment. For example, they can easily find information about their upcoming appointments, fill out questionnaires, find tips to prepare for their treatments and more. Specifically, it is very useful that patients receive automated reminders of appointments or tasks.
The apps are naturally built native in SwiftUI for iOS and Jetpack Compose for Android and are provided with content via a Kotlin API.



Treatment and booking portal
In addition to beautiful apps for patients, Zooma is also building an entirely new portal for practitioners and the planning team. In this place, ADHDcentraal's practitioners can find all the information about their patients' treatment trajectory, which makes monitoring treatment clearer and easier.
Via the reservation tool, patients who have been invited can schedule their first appointment all by themselves. These reservations arrive in the treatment portal, where the planning team can process them. Patient preparation can be monitored so that patients show up at their first appointment optimally prepared.

After a careful selection process, we have chosen Zooma as our long-term development partner for creating our digital products for clinicians and patients. The Zooma team feels like an extension of our own organization: professional, customer-focused, caring, and highly skilled. A perfect match with ADHDcentraal, which as an innovative and patient-centered healthcare organization was founded out of a desire to do things differently in mental health care and to truly put the patient at the center.

Continuous development
The project started with a "sprint 0", where we worked out the architecture of the system and the first designs. The MVP (minimum viable product) was set up in the first four sprints. In about eight to ten sprints per year, we work on the (continued) development of the system. In these sprints, the development team works intensively over three weeks on a predefined list of features. Progress is discussed through daily stand-ups and the customer is kept informed or asked for input if necessary. After each sprint there is a test phase and a go live, so the system keeps improving iteratively. A great project with an ambitious partner!
