Weekend of winter sports in Winterberg

Where there is work, there must also be vacation! That's why Zooma spent a weekend in Winterberg in early February. From our cottages we had a perfect view of the slopes. At night a layer of fresh snow fell, during the day a clear blue sky with the sun high in the sky. We had a great weekend!

Our team has since expanded considerably so there were no less than seventeen of us on the slopes. The other five were guarding the office while we were away, someone had to keep the business running. ;-)

While the experienced skiers and snowboarders went straight down the black slopes, for some it was the very first time on the slats. Therefore, for them the adventure began with a lesson on the beginner's slope. From muscle cramping through the well-known pizza point to confident descents in one weekend, Zooma learns quickly! Of course a lunch in the valley, including hot chocolate and German schnitzels, could not be missed.

In the evening a quiz was prepared to get to know each other even better. Some very special facts came up! One turned out to have a 3D printer on their balcony and someone else had been a Dutch chess champion! Second place at the age of seven, but hey, that counts. After the quiz, all that remained was to play out the après-ski.

All in all, it was a great weekend where everyone got to do their thing nicely. Whether your breakfast was early or late, still carving down the mountain or already on the table in the après-ski, anything goes and nothing is required. Every night we went out for a delicious dinner and throughout the weekend the table was constantly full of board games.
