The race was followed by a festive awards ceremony, where the winners received their medals with broad grins and the rest sought excuses in bad pedals and faltering hardware. Then it was time to end the day well with a nice dinner in Alkmaar. While enjoying good food and drinks, the best (and worst) race actions were analyzed in detail once again, while plans were already being made for a rematch. A successful afternoon and evening!
