Our (digital) record wall

Some things are born out of passion, and Zooma is no exception. The name Zooma was inspired by Neil Young’s album Zuma. What once began as an idea has grown into a creative development studio with an enduring love for music.

This is what it says on the Zuma record from our collection:

(Live) music has always been important to us. Zooma actually started out as a high school rock band and is named after a wonderful Neil Young album called ‘Zuma,’ which features the classic track ‘Cortez the Killer.’ Since zuma.nl was taken, we went with zooma.nl

A wall with a story

After the renovation in June 2025, it finally happened: the record wall. Everyone at Zooma shared their all-time favorite album.

What followed surprised us a bit. Some sent a brief explanation of their record within 30 minutes, while others submitted pages full of stories, because 200 characters is “way too little.” It sparked something and quickly became part of our culture.

After that, we also invited customers and partners. From long-standing business partners to suppliers like our locksmith and ISO partner. Everyone got a spot. Customers who stop by automatically head over there. Conversations arise about music, memories, and our shared interests.

From wall to digital

As a digital development agency, we naturally had to extend this online. The record wall is now also on our website, complete with filters and stories. When you select a record and click play, the song plays, and you can discover everyone’s favorite album. Check out our digital record collection!
